For me, all types of design is interesting, but I’ve built my career around the web.
Since I am proficient in various creative disciplines, I like to describe myself simply as a designer.

Note: It's good to keep in mind that certain color combinations are not appreciated by everyone. But it is important to acknowledge the difference between a bad combination of colors and what some might think isn't pretty. It's all about the hues to make a difference.
It's not common practice to design for accessibility as of today, unless you have demands on your business to follow requirements of the law. But why not design for it in all cases? What you get is a better design that is well-thought-out. And also more customers can enjoy your website.
This is one of the most valuable things, we should always focus on users. For me it's fun to see things in different perspectives and understanding users behaviours and possible problems, which I then can base my design decisions on.
Not only with digital stuff, but also when doing other things I've learnt that experimenting takes me further. Like when I am painting with acrylics, sometimes I just have to sacrifice motives I've spent hours painting because something feels wrong – but doing so the results often become a lot better.
I think it's fun to help others and share what I've learnt during the years. The great thing about helping others, no matter if you'll receive help from them or not later on, is that you will learn more along the way.
